The West Indies and South Africa are preparing for next month's T20 World Cup in the United States of America and Caribbean. Both teams are without first-choice players such as Heinrich Klaasen, Aiden Markram and Andre Russell, who are still involved in the Indian Premier League.

But there will be many other outstanding players involved in this match, including Matthew Forde and Gudakesh Motie, who took three wickets each in the series opener. The seamer and spinner complemented each other well. Both are worthwhile naming in your Dream11 team selection.

Ottniel Baartman and Shamar Joseph are relatively new to international cricket. They are superb seamers. Baartman as been bowling with good accuracy and variety, while Joseph's outright pace has been troubling opposition batters aplenty. Pick one or both for your team.

Quinton de Kock will go into this match with recent IPL experience and the ability to put in a big performance at the top of the order. He is a world-class opening batter - and wicketkeeper. Back him for this dual role in your team. De Kock is one of the best T20I cricketers in the world.

You might want to select two spinners. Consider Bjorn Fortuin alongside Motie. Fortuin could bowl with the new ball again and have the opportunity to strike during the powerplay, when the opening batters are really looking to get after the slow bowlers.

You will need a captain. Brandon King and Rassie van der Dussen are leading the West Indies and South Africa, respectively, in temporary capacities. King is probably a stronger pick here as captain. But you can still select van der Dussen in your middle order.
