RTW vs CSG Match Preview
Trichy's openers have failed to give the team a good start and that has put added pressure on an already weak middle order. Skipper Ganga Sridhar Raju is the leading run-getter for the team but hasn’t received much support at the other end.
Trichy has tried many permutations and combinations for its batting order but none of that has had any benefit on the outcome. Daryl Ferrario, R Rajkumar, and K Mani Bharathi did get some good starts but failed to convert them into a match-winning inning. It is a similar story with the bowlers too.
The pace attack made up of T Natarajan, K Easwaran, and R Silambarasan hasn’t had much success in picking up wickets. The spinners, Godson and Ferrario have managed to pick up just 5 wickets between them.
Except for skipper Baba Aparajith, the other batsmen have failed to get going for the Super Gillies. Pradosh Ranjan Paul and N Jagadeesan have played a couple of good innings but have failed to make any positive impact after that.
Similarly, despite having some strong batsmen including Sanjay Yadav and U Sasidev, the Super Gillies haven’t been able to post match-winning scores. All-rounders Harish Lumar and Santosh Shiv do add depth to the batting but the team will need to perform well as a unit to turn things around.
The spinners, Rahil Shah, M Silambarasan, and Baba Aparajith have done a decent job so far but the team is severely lacking in quality seamers as much of the bowling has been done by the all-rounders.
Weather Report
The weather will remain warm and humid.
Pitch Report
The pitch at Tirunelveli is balanced and offers equal opportunities to the bowlers as well as the batsmen. The quicker bowlers will get some movement early on and the batsmen will need to settle down before they start playing the big shots, while the spinners will see some turn throughout the match. Anything over 160 will be difficult to chase here.

Dream11 Prediction
We are backing the Chepauk Super Gillies to win here. While they may not be in the best of forms of late, they are still a quality side and have plenty of match-winners on the team. On the other hand, Trichy has a significantly weaker team.
