NZW vs ENGW Match Preview
England Women were quite dominant in the the recent WT20I series. New Zealand Women managed to win the middle match in the five-fixture string, but that was it - England won all the rest. That WT20I series gave our Dream11 team selection experts plenty of good tips for his WODI series.
Amelia Kerr should be one of the first names you pick. She was New Zealand Women's leading wicket-taker and run-scorer in the WT20Is. She can bring plenty more value with bat and ball. You'd be wise to select one of the best all-rounders in the women's game.
Heather Knight is another standout figure. England's middle-order kingpin has plenty of experience and was in good form in the WT20Is against New Zealand. She can take that momentum into the longer format, where she will have an even bigger opportunity to spend more time at the crease.
Charlotte Dean is probably the next name you should have in your Dream11 team. These teams are preparing for the 2024 T20 World Cup in Bangladesh. She is an excellent spinner and has taken seven wickets in her last five matches. Conditions in Wellington could play right into her hands.
Your Dream11 team is going to need a wicketkeeper-batter. England's Amy Jones is promising choice here. She has been sound and solid behind the stumps, but not quite grabbed her recent opportunities with the bat. New Zealand's Bernadine Bezuidenhout or Isabella Gaze are other options.
For a superb seamer, Lea Tahuhu is the way to go. The veteran right-armer has been an international cricketer for more than a decade and has the statistics and cricketing credentials to go with that lengthy period. Her accuracy and variations in pace will be key in Wellington.
Weather Report
No rain is forecast in Wellington on matchday. We'll get a full fixture in. With shorter boundaries and a fast outfield, we could be in for a high-scoring affair.
Pitch Report
The team to win the toss will probably choose to bat first in a bid to take early advantage of what should be a reasonably fresh pitch.
A first-innings score of upward of 250 should be competitive. It'll be interesting to see if one or both XIs go for two specialist spinners.
Notable stats
Kerr in form
The New Zealand all-rounder scored the most runs, 114 in four innings, and took the most wickets, six in five matches, during the recent WT20I series against England Women.
Team News
New Zealand Women will need to carefully consider their position on seamer Rosemary Mair, whose recent form has been stop-start. Danni Wyatt will likely be retained at the top of England Women's batting order.

Dream11 Prediction
England Women are in a far stronger position to win, even if they don't have homeground advantage. Their dominance in the WT20I series will count a lot in this opening WODI and beyond. England's batting and bowling resources are gelling well as a unit.
