MOW vs NOSW Match Preview

The Northern Superchargers team played their last game in the competition against London Spirit Women. This 24th game of the competition was played at Lord's yesterday. Batting first, London Spirit Women scored 135 runs for the loss of 7 wickets from their 100 balls. The Northern Superchargers Women were successful in chasing down the target with 1 ball and 4 wickets to spare. Phoebe Litchfield was adjudged player of the match for her batting effort of 38 runs from 34 balls for Northern Superchargers.

All the efforts put in by Amelia Kerr during the London Spirit innings and later on with the ball proved to be in vain as Northern Superchargers clinched this humdinger with 1 ball to go. As a result of this narrow defeat, London Spirit bowed out of the competition. The Superchargers batters Phoebe Litchfield and Jemimah Rodrigues took the Superchargers team to a narrow victory as they contributed 38 and 30 during the chase. The Northern Superchargers team managed to scrape home and has booked a place in the playoffs.

In the 23rd game of the competition Trent Rockets Women played against Manchester Originals Women in Nottingham. Batting first, Manchester Originals scored 107 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. The Trent Rockets Women chased this modest target easily with 36 balls and 9 wickets to spare. Bryoni Smith was adjudged player of the match for her 28 runs from 19 balls and one wicket for 27 runs. The Manchester Originals will thank the efforts of Deandra Dottin for getting across to a score of more than 100 runs. She scored 30 runs from 26 balls.

Dottin added 40 runs for the 3rd wicket with Laura Wolvaardt who scored 23 runs from 31 balls. Towards the end of the Manchester Originals innings, Amanda Jade-Wellington scored 22 runs from 19 balls to provide a bit of impetus to the Originals women’s score. However, this score was never going to be enough. Although Manchester Originals women are still not out of the equation for a place in the knockout stages of the competition, it will be an uphill task to reach the next stages of the competition from here on.

Dream11 Prediction

The Manchester Originals players such as Wellington will need to pick up their game in this match-up. Otherwise, there is no hope for the Manchester team to reach the knockout stages of the competition. The Northern Superchargers recently beat Manchester Originals by a margin of 4 runs. It is a much better-balanced team with some good batters and bowlers in it. Phoebe Litchfield is the leader of the team though and some useful contribution from Rodrigues is also expected. We will bet with Northern Superchargers Women to win.
