IND vs AUS Match Preview

India and Australia both have several excellent batters to choose from. We ideally want to have a good balance of players from both teams in the lineup since a high-scoring match will invariably give a chance to a lot of batters to showcase their skill.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Travis Head, and Josh Philippe are all a must-have in your lineup. Among the players batting lower down, we like SKY, Tim David, and Rinku Singh.

These are the players that are likely to face the bulk of the bowling. We have not picked Shreyas Iyer and Ben McDermott because neither of these players looked in good form in the previous match. It is a bit of risk but these tough choices have to be made.

Axar Patel as the all-rounder, Ravi Bishnoi as the spinner, and Jason Behrendorff as the fast bowler seem to be obvious choices. The final place should be used to take a wild card. This will not pay off very often but when it does, it will differentiate your team from the others in the contest quite easily.

Weather Report

There is no rain predicted for match day. The temperature should quite pleasant and dew is also expected to play a role throughout the game.

Pitch Report

The pitch should be flat, even-paced, and ideal for batting. We saw scores of 400 being chased at this venue. 200 should be the bare minimum that teams aim for while batting first. What is a winning total? Difficult to say but we think 210-220 is on the cards.

Notable stats

Rinku Singh: Future International Star?

Rinku Singh has had a terrific start to his international career. he is averaging 87 with a strike rate of 197.73 after five innings at this level. This will come down of course but he has made it clear that belongs to this level.

Team News

No injury reports from either camp.

Dream11 Prediction

We think India is the team to back in this contest. It has a superior batting lineup and is also very well-versed with the conditions. Australia should not be taken lightly but it looks as if its current crop of players is not quite acclamitized to the Indian conditions.

Top Picks

Ruturaj Gaikwad: A start but not really going on to capitalize is rare for Ruturaj Gaikwad. We think another big score might be in store for him in this match.

Travis Head: Head has shown that he is going to play only one way and that is all-out attack. He could get out cheaply but if he stays for any significant length of time at the crease, he will make a massive contribution.

SKY: A small ground with a nice amount of pace and bounce on offer? This seems like tailor-made for SKY and Bengaluru could see the new Mr. 360 dominate where ABD once used to rule.
