GT vs MI Match Preview
The Gujarat Titans have been one of the strongest sides in the previous two seasons of the IPL. Not having Mohammad Shami and Hardik Pandya will affect their wicket-taking ability but perhaps not their batting as much as you would expect.
Shubhman Gill, David Miller, and Sai Sudharsan are all good options to explore. Among the bowlers, Rashid Khan is a no-brainer but maybe consider having his mirror-image, Norr Ahmad, in the lineup as well. We think this will be a close contest between two of the best teams in IPL 2024. GT is playing at home where it has had an immense amount of success but losing two of its most important players is not going to be easy to overcome. Tilak Varma: A brilliant batter who has performed very well for MI over the last few seasons. Tilak Varma is likely to bat at number three and could have a big impact in this match. He is brilliant against spin and pace, both.
Rashid Khan: Is there a better T20 player around the world than Rashid Khan? We don't think so. He warmed up with a match-winning performance against Ireland and will not be keen to get into the thick of things.
