The Sunrisers will need to start stringing better performances together because of some poor results following a promising start. Heinrich Klaasen has made numerous starts without kicking on. He could be a key batter if he can start converting into significant scores.
Punjab Kings are moving upwards after three wins and only a single loss in their first four IPL games for 2025. Their win in the previous game came off the back of some notable individual performances.
A team that has become accustomed to losing this season will have the challenge of facing a team becoming used to winning this season.

There are no major injury scares to report for either squad
Stats and conditions may go hand in hand for this game. The pacers have taken the majority of the wickets with two-thirds of the wickets at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. The pitch will become easier to bat on in the second half of the innings and match. The dew conditions of night games will correlate to almost 60% of the games being won by the side bowling first.
The choice here comes down to what you want from your wicketkeeper. Heinrich Klaasen of SRH will be the more consistent run-scorer, but has yet to explode to life in this tournament. He is capable of a destructive innings though. Prabhsimran Singh hit a half-century against LSG, but has had lower scores around that.
The story is largely the same for some of the top choices here. Nehal Wadhera, Priyansh Arya and Aniket Verma have all showcased their boundary-striking brilliance in their best innings of this year. Arya hit a century in his previous game. Both Wadhera and Verma have hit half-centuries this season.
The all-rounders of the Punjab Kings are largely the better options for your team. The team is stacked with the quality and experience of Australian pair Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis. Between them, they have 4693 IPL runs and 83 IPL wickets. Young South African Marco Jansen has also been a star internationally, particularly with the ball. He has three wickets in this season’s IPL.
Lockie Ferguson and Arshdeep Singh of Punjab could be some fast-bowling options to think about. They have more than 430 T20 wickets between them. The SRH pair of Pat Cummins and Mohammed Shami will be another experienced duo to ponder for selection in your lineup. For comparison, they have almost 400 T20 wickets in combination.
Heinrich Klaasen could be a banker for this spot because of how regularly he has contributed to the team, despite overall disappointing team efforts. The hard-hitting wicketkeeper-batter has amassed a batting average of over 30 and a batting strike rate over 150 for his last ten IPL appearances.
Glenn Maxwell has gone about his business with bat and ball for Punjab this season. By his standards, he has still been very quiet with the bat. He did score 30 runs against Rajasthan though. With the ball, he has taken almost one wicket per game.
You should be smart about selecting some who know how to be effective with the new ball. With the type of surface being more on the batting-friendly side of things, the batters you select will be one of the more important selection choices for your team. The seam-bowling all-rounders could be valuable on this pitch.
Heinrich Klaasen has 350 Dream11 points, only two ahead of Shreyas Iyer with 348
Shreyas Iyer is the highest run-scorer with 168 runs
The most threatening wicket-taker has been Arshdeep Singh with six wickets in four innings
Punjab captain Shreyas Iyer is on top here with 14 sixes in only four innings
Lockie Ferguson has the best strike rate with 400. More accurately though, Priyansh Arya with 210.67 and Shreyas Iyer with 200 would be the most effective where strike rates are concerned
This is tied between two players from the Sunrisers. Kamindu Mendis and Jaydev Unadkat both have an economy rate of eight.
