Quetta Gladiators put up a convincing display to overcome the Peshawar Zalmi by an 80-run margin. They have a number of batters in form who will be looking to continue their fortunes into their second game of the season too.
Lahore Qalandars faces the exact same opposite scenario to their hosts. Their batting failed miserably against Islamabad United before a bowling performance that was ineffective as well.
The two teams have vastly different form heading into this encounter, but that may not necessarily mean one-way traffic. Quetta will be fired up to continue their winning streak.

Neither team suffered any injury blows after their opening round of fixtures.
The warm and humid conditions will be apparent on the day. Pitch-wise, the pacers may get some movement early on with the new ball. The dry conditions may give the spinners something to work with, although not an excessive amount on a newer wicket.
Sam Billings is an experienced T20 cricketer, but will be low on confidence after starting with a duck. Kusal Mendis is likely to be the better choice of the two wicketkeepers. He hit an unbeaten 35 runs at a strike rate of 250 in his previous innings.
Abdullah Shafique is a player who should be in your lineup. He is one of the few Lahore batters in form after a half-century in his previous PSL innings. You could also take your pick from Saud Shakeel, Finn Allen or Hasan Nawaz after their sparkling combined performance against Peshawar Zalmi.
Sikandar Raza and Faheem Ashraf will be two incredible options to have at your disposal for these conditions. Zimbabwean Raza has back-to-back T20 half-centuries in his home domestic T20 competition before arriving in Pakistan. Ashraf ended his last three BPL games with ten wickets in three games, including five for seven against the Strikers.
The bowling of Abrar Ahmed, Mohammad Amir and Haris Rauf will put variation in your lineup by default. All three have proven wicket-taking ability from their recent T20 outings. Ahmed put in a match-winning effort for Quetta against Peshawar. Amir took a couple of wickets in the same match. Rauf will also be lethal after recently taking three for 27 against the Black Caps.
Finn Allen will be one of the batters who could score you the jackpot where Dream11 fantasy points are concerned. He is a powerful ball-striker who won’t be afraid to go over the top in the powerplay. He has two T20 half-centuries in his past three games.
Mohammad Amir could be worth backing on this surface. He can move the ball in the powerplay. His skiddy bowling will be difficult to get a hold of as a batter in the death overs too. He has five wickets in his past three T20s.
You should keep in mind the current form of the batting groups. Quetta Gladiators have come into the game off the back of a score of 216 for three in 20 overs. Contrastingly, Lahore Qalandars stumbled to 139 all out in their previous match. Both teams have bowlers suited to the conditions.
Abdullah Shafique has earned himself 442 Dream11 fantasy points
Abdullah Shafique has 66 runs for Lahore Qalandars
Mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed took four wickets in his first match of the tournament
Finn Allen of Quetta Gladiators hit an impressive four sixes in his previous innings
Wicketkeeper-batter Kusal Mendis did an impressive job of scoring at a batting strike rate of 250 in his previous match
Asif Afridi returned an economical performance by going at only 3.75 in his previous match
