New Zealand will be the side heading into this third T20I with massive confidence. They won the opening T20I by nine wickets and followed up that destructive performance with a five-wicket win in a match reduced to a 15-over game. The Black Caps have won six of the last seven T20Is against Pakistan at home.
Pakistan have been poor in their recent T20I matches. Their form reads five losses in their previous six T20Is against all opposition. A win will make a group filled with newer faces believe they have what it takes to beat world-class opponents.
This game will either decide the T20I series to be in New Zealand’s favour or Pakistan will be hanging on by a sliver.

Tim Seifert, Finn Allen, Mark Chapman, Daryl Mitchell, James Neesham, Mitchell Hay (wk), Michael Bracewell (c), Zakary Foulkes, Ben Sears, Ish Sodhi, Jacob Duffy
Mohammad Haris (wk), Hasan Nawaz, Salman Agha (c), Irfan Khan, Khushdil Shah, Shadab Khan, Abdul Samad, Jahandad Khan, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Ali
There have been no injuries or illnesses reported in either camp.
Conditions will be moderately warm with a slight chance of drizzle. The biggest factor of the day could be the humidity. The humidity will be something that the Pakistani group will be more accustomed to. 76 percent of wickets at the ground have been taken by pacers. This could be something worth noting for your Dream11 teams.
Mitchell Hay may be the better bet for a safer pair of hands. The New Zealand wicket-keeper is highly effective behind the stumps. Mohammad Haris would be considered more like a batter who can keep wicket. Haris, though bats at the top of the order and is likely to score more runs if he gets in.
Finn Allen and Tim Seifert have been a powerful opening partnership this series. Both have made scores of over 30 in both games. Seifert earned himself the player-of-the-match for his efforts in the second T20I. Daryl Mitchell could be a handy pick as an experienced customer in the middle.
Most Pakistani batters have struggled in foreign conditions, so it may be wiser to pick only a handful of them. Salman Agha could be one who stands out from the visitors.
Michael Bracewell will be one who many New Zealand eyes will turn to in the hopes of contributing with bat and ball. He is also the team’s captain. James Neesham has two wickets in the series currently. He has yet to fire with the bat, but has all the experience in the world to do so.
Salman Agha played a captain’s knock in his previous innings and will looking to back it up with another, if not with the ball as well.
Kyle Jamieson will always be a handful because of his height which generates steep bounce. He has already earned himself a player-of-the-match award this series and won’t be looking to slow down. Jacob Duffy is a new ball bowler who will challenge both edges with his swing. He has six wickets this T20I series already.
The left-arm angle from Shaheen Afridi will be difficult to face when he swings the new ball both ways. He has not been in the best form but he is a proven wicket-taker.
Tim Seifert could be a hot pick for captain after scores of 44 off 29 and 45 off 22 this series. The opener could be dangerous, especially if his opening partner manages to ease the pressure off him to score quickly.
In hot pursuit of Seifert for captain, would be Finn Allen for vice-captain. Allen is known for his brisk starts in T20 cricket. He has not disappointed this series with his two innings ending with batting strike rates of 237.50 and 170.58.
The pacers could have a field day with the ball. Your choice of pace bowlers should be very specific on a wicket which will favour them over the spinners.
The safer options for the batters may come from the New Zealand lineup. They have dominated in home conditions.
The teams have played two matches this T20I series. Jacob Duffy leads the way with 207 fantasy points and tightly following him is Tim Seifert with 199 points.
Tim Seifert has 89 runs this series. He has dominated in both games this series
Swing bowler Jacob Duffy has blitzed through the Pakistani lineup with six wickets in the opening two matches
As expected, this comes from one of the New Zealand openers. Finn Allen has hit seven sixes. Tim Seifert follows him with six sixes.
Although we are only dealing with a small sample size of Michael Bracewell facing two balls, he sits on a strike rate of 250. Finn Allen has shown consistency over a longer period of balls faced with a strike rate of 203.
Kyle Jamieson has been reliable by not leaking runs. He has an economy rate of two this T20I series, which is almost unheard of for the format.
