Kolkata Knight Riders
Lucknow Super Giants
KKR will hope to build on the success that it has had in its last two outings as it takes on LSG, a team that is in almost exactly the same position. Both teams have some very strong batters and the difference may come down to the bowlers. Having some key players in the right places is something that could end up making all the difference in the results.
The surface at Eden Gardens slowed up a lot in the previous match and if that is the case, you might want to load your Dream11 teams with more batters from the team that bats first and spinners from the team that chases.

We heard Langer say that Mayank Yadav is very close to a return to LSG's playing eleven but that has not been confirmed yet.
There is no rain predicted in Kolkata on match day. There were will be some clouds but nothing that should threaten the game. The pitch at the Eden Gardens has been good for the batters, especially in the first inning, but has also helped the spinners in recent matches. Don't count out the impact of the pacers, though. 56% of the wickets in the previous ten matches have been taken by the fast bowlers.
We are going to pick both Nicholas Pooran and Quinton de Kock in our Dream11 teams. Pooran has scored 447 points in the IPL so far while Quinton de Kock has 215. Pant has not been in the best of form right now, but he will be very low-owned and may be worth a risk.
There are so many great options here that this is where contests will be won and lost! Mitch Marsh has hit three fifties and scores a lot of boundaries when he is at the crease. Historically, he has lost form quickly and can be a risk. David Miller is very consistent but bats a bit low.
The same is true for Venkatesh Iyer and Rinku Singh. Both excellent players and very effective at hitting boundaries. Rahane has got starts and Raghuvanshi also scored a fifty in the previous match.
Aiden Markram is the standout batter in this group while Sunil Narine is the most effective bowler. We suggest picking both in the lineup especially as Narine can contribute with the bat also.
Varun Chakravarthy is a genuine match winner and perhaps the first choice for every single contest. The rest of the bowling lineup is a bit lower-quality, though. Shardul Thakur has picked up wickets but we don't rate him highly, Ravi Bishnoi might be worth a look on a potentially slow surface, and Digvesh Singh continues to impress also.
Nicholas Pooran is the obvious choice here but we don't think it is the wrong one. He will enjoy the small boundaries at the Eden Gardens and could end up scoring a lot of runs very quickly.
Aiden Markram is batting at the right position now and his consistency makes him an excellent choice for vice-captain. Also, if the surface is spin friendly, Markram can roll his arm overand pick up some wickets.
A potential high-scoring match with an advantage to the team that bats first could be in store. The spinners will start coming into play as the game goes on. We think LSG has a slight advantage because of its big hitting batting lineup and so that might be the way to lean your team balance in.
N Pooran (325), M Marsh (280), A Rahane (212)
N Pooran (201), M Marsh (184), A Raghuvanshi (128)

N Pooran (16), M Marsh (10), A Rahane (10)
A Samad (240.91), N Pooran (218.48), M Marsh (185.86)
