We are one week into the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League and have already seen some exciting contests. One such contest is lined up for Sunday as the incumbent champions, Islamabad United, take on the Karachi Kings.
Islamabad is unbeaten this season, winning each of its three matches, and is in brilliant form. The Karachi Kings, while being inconsistent, are coming into this contest on the back of a thumping victory over the Quetta Gladiators. Both teams will now look to build up on the winning momentum.

Both teams have fully fit squads at their disposal
The pitch at the National Stadium is usually good to bat on. The batsmen will have a good time in the middle once they settle down and can play their shots with ease. That said, the bowlers can expect some help if they pitch the ball in the right areas. The surface could become a bit two-paced as the innings progresses.
The weather will remain warm and there might be some dew on the ground during the second half.
Tim Seifert is our top choice when it comes to the wicket-keepers. He has played some good knocks at the top of the order and can also play the big shots.
Both teams have some brilliant batsmen who are in good form. Colin Munro, Sahibzada Farhan, and James Vince are the top three run-getters of the tournament. We are also selecting David Warner given his experience in the shortest format.
Both teams have some quality all-rounders. We are selecting Khushdil Shah, Shadab Khan, and Imad Wasim for our team.
Jason Holder and Hasan Ali are the top two wicket-takers of the season and make it to our team. We are also picking up Naseem Shah as he can be quite effective on this surface.
We are selecting Jason Holder as our captain. He has picked up at least 4 wickets in 2 of his last 3 matches and is the leading wicket-taker of the season. Holder is also a handy batsman lower down the order and can play the big shots.
Sahibzada Farhan is the vice-captain of our team. He has played a couple of brilliant knocks and is the leading run-scorer of the tournament.
We expect a balanced pitch for this game. That’s why we have tried to select a balanced side that has some in-form batsmen and quality all-rounders. Since the all-rounders are all good spinners of the ball, we have balanced the bowling line-up by selecting 3 seamers in the bowling dep.
Sahibzada Farhan has picked up 707 points in the last 5 matches at an average of 141 points per game.
Sahibzada Farhan (184), James Vince (171), Colin Munro (147)
Jason Holder (9), Hasan Ali (8), Shadab Khan (6)
Sahibzada Farhan (10), Khushdil Shah (6), Colin Munro (5)
Jason Holder (208), James Vince (185.86), Sahibzada Farhan (165.76)
Mohammad Nabi (1.75), Imad Wasim (6.66), Shadab Khan (6.77)
