The Sunrisers Hyderabad, who reached the finals last season, are struggling for survival this time around. While the team did win its previous encounter, they are still under a serious threat of elimination and need to win all its remaining matches if they want to remain in the race for the playoffs.
The Gujarat Titans on the other hand are more comfortably placed in the 3rd place on the table. However, with teams like the Punjab Kings and the Lucknow Super Giants closing in, they cannot afford to be complacent and still look to make use of the home advantage.

There are no reports of injuries from either side.
We are expecting a flat track at the Narendra Modi Stadium for this match that is excellent to bat on. The venue has hosted some high-scoring games this season and it will not be surprising if we see another one here. The bowlers are likely to have a tough time as it is easy to time the ball and also to hit across the line. The weather will remain warm and on the dry side. There might be some dew during the latter half but not too much.
Jos Buttler and Heinrich Klaasen are our top picks here. Both of them are in good form with the bat and can strike the ball quite a long distance.
Sai Sudharsan is the leading run-scorer of the tournament and is a natural choice. We are also going with Shubman Gill and Travis Head.
Other than Abhishek Sharma, none of the all-rounders have been able to perform well. Kamindu Mendis has put up a couple of promising performances and we are therefore including him as well.
Sai Kishore and Prasidh Krishna have achieved plenty of success at the Narendra Modi Stadium and we are picking them. We are also including Pat Cummins thanks to his ability to play some big shots.
Sai Sudharsan is in red-hot form with the bat and is a natural choice for captaincy. He has an excellent record at the Narendra Modi Stadium and could play a big knock.
We are picking Jos Buttler for this post. He has the ability to play the big shots at will and has been consistent throughout the season. He has also been quite sharp behind the stumps.
As the pitch is expected to be batsmen-friendly, we have included plenty of batsmen in our team. Both teams have some quality and experienced batsmen and picking the right combination shouldn’t be difficult. However, we advise you to pick the bowlers carefully as they could be severely punished if they aren’t accurate.
Jos Buttler has collected 520 points from the last 5 matches at an average of 104 points per match.
Sai Sudharsan (456), Jos Buttler (406), Shubman Gill (389)
Prasidh Krishna (17), Harshal Patel (13), Sai Kishore (12)

Prasidh Krishna (7.80), Jaydev Unadkat (7.91), Kamindu Mendis (8.40)
