The Delhi Capitals Women find themselves in the Finals of the WPL for the third consecutive time! That is an incredible record to have but the fact that they failed to win the previous couple of times will weigh heavily on them. The Mumbai Indians Women have momentum on their side and a team that is hungry for success.
After winning the WPL in season 1, MI Women are now in the final once more. The match is going to be played at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai, which may end up being an advantage for MI Women as well since the entire crowd will be behind them.
A batting-friendly surface lies in store, which could mean we have a high-scoring WPL Final.

No major injuries to be reported right now. Both teams are expected to choose from their full-strength squad.
The pitch at the Brabourne Stadium is excellent for scoring runs and we have seen close to 200 being scored in the previous three matches. That could mean picking a batter-heavy Dream11 side.
The weather is expected to be warm and humid with temperatures of around 29 degrees. There is no rain expected and we should not have any interruptions.
The choice here is between Sarah Bryce and Yastika Bhatia. Both players have been pretty similar in terms of their Dream11 performance with 215 points for Sarah Bryce and 278 for Yastika Bhatia. However, we think picking Yastika Bhatia makes sense on a batting friendly surface since Yastika Bhatia bats at the top of the order and will have a better chance of making a big contribution.
We don't think there is any question about picking the top batters from both teams. Shafali Varma, Meg Lanning, and Harmanpreet Kaur are automatic selections. They have scored the most Dream11 points in the WPL so far and are coming into this match in great form.
The players that have scored bucket-loads of points for their respective teams come from this category. These are the names that should be first in priority. Nat Sciver-Brunt, Hayley Matthews, Amelia Kerr, Jess Jonassen, and Anabel Sutherland are all excellent options.
Sciver-Brunt and Hayley Matthews have scored a staggering 1315 and 1177 points respectively!
This is where you can experiment a little and pick players that will be lesser-owned to differentiate your team. Mani Minnu and Sanskriti Gupta are two such options. They were picked by fewer than 15% people in both matches and have done pretty well.
It is very hard to look beyond Nat Sciver-Brunt for the choice of Captain. She has scored 493 runs in the WPL so far and also picked up 9 wickets. She has the temperament needed to perform on the big stage!
We are going to pick another MI Women all-rounder, Hayley Matthews for the vice-captain pick. She scored 77 runs in the Eliminator and picked up three wickets. The surface should suit her at the Brabourne Stadium.
The recent stats at the venue suggest that this match is going to be dominated by the batters. Mumbai Indians are the team in form with their two overseas all-rounders going great guns. This is why we have recommended a team that only has two batters and has the all-rounders as captain and vice-captain.
You can choose a slightly lower owned bowler for head to head contests and that could be a big differentiating factor.
Nat Scover Brunt with 1315 points with an average of 146.11 points per match
Nat Scover Brunt (493), Hayley Matthews (304), Shafali Varma (300)
Hayley Matthews (17), Amelia Kerr (16), Jess Jonassen (11)
Shafali Varma (16), Harmanpreet Kaur (9), Hayley Matthews (9)
Shabnim Ismail (400), Shafali Varma (157.89), Sarah Bryce (157.14)
Marizanne Kapp (6.20), Sanskriti Gupta (6.59), Minnu Mani (6.82)
