Delhi Capitals will feel as though they have grown mentally tougher as a group after their one-wicket win inside the final over against Lucknow. They will look to be more convincing going forward, but will have the belief that they can get through the tight games.
The Sunrisers have felt mixed emotions to start their tournament. They won their first game in grand style. Their second game was not one that the team would want to remember in a hurry after being thrashed by Lucknow Super Giants.
Delhi and Sunrisers will both go into this match with two points so far.

Neither team has players sidelined by injuries or illnesses
The players will be baking in temperatures of over 30 degrees Celsius. There will be a high level of humidity. No rain will interrupt the game. Teams have tended to score higher in the first innings with an average score of 169. The dry conditions will aid the spinners on the day.
There are two interesting choices up for grabs here with South African Heinrich Klaasen and Indian Ishan Kishan. Klaasen is one of the world’s best players of spin which may give him the edge over Rahul. Don’t discount Kishan’s form with an unbeaten century in his first IPL innings for 2025.
Travis Head has the most runs across both squads, so it may be no surprise to automatically pick him. A local Indian player such as Ashutosh Sharma will be useful to have in your side as someone who has back-to-back T20 half-centuries. He will be adept at facing pace and spin
Abhishek Sharma has turned himself into more than just a destructive opening batter. He is capable of chipping in with overs of spin too. His most notable recent T20 performance was when he scored a century and took two wickets against England in a T20I
The fast-bowling options on show will be incredible. Mitchell Starc has been in the wickets in his first game this tournament. Mukesh Kumar, Mohammed Shami and Pat Cummins have also all grabbed wickets in the 2025 IPL edition
Travis Head has come close to scoring two half-centuries in a row. When he is in the mood, he usually goes on to score big. He is in a purple patch in white-ball cricket. The Australian has six IPL centuries and one IPL century.
Heinrich Klaasen would be another top batting selection in your side for his ability to read spin-bowling. The middle-order hitter ended his SA20 tournament with a score of 76 against Joburg Super Kings before starting this IPL with brisk starts of 34 and 26 against Rajasthan and Lucknow respectively.
Pace and spin are almost equal in terms of their effectiveness on this ground. Pacers have taken 54 percent of the wickets to the 46 percent of the spinners.
The batters could have a fun time of things, particularly if batting in the first innings. It may be wise to have batters who are good players of spin in your side with the clear and hot weather conditions.
Travis Head has earned 236 Dream11 fantasy points. That is 14 points clear of Ishan Kishan in second spot with 222 points.
Australian Travis Head has 114 runs across two innings
Mitchell Starc took a three-fer in his one IPL innings. Harshal Patel joins him on three wickets, but in one less game.
This is a three-way tie between Aniket Verma, Ishan Kishan and Travis Head all with six sixes
Left-hander Ishan Kishan is one of two players between the sides to have faced a minimum of 20 balls and have a strike rate over 200. Kishan has a batting strike rate of 220.83
Kuldeep Yadav has been the most economical bowler with an economy rate of only five
