The Inderjit Singh Bindra Stadium in Mohali, which is sometimes also referred to as the PCA Stadium, is instantly recognisable due to a very unusual layout of floodlights, due to the proximity to the nearby Chandigarh airport. Named after Inderjit Singh Bindra - the former PCA and BCCI head - it was established in 1993 and it is regularly used to host international matches of various formats involving Indian teams.

With a capacity of just under 30,000 the Mohali ground has held key games in the 2016 World Twenty20 and the 2011 Cricket World Cup. IT was where India beat Pakistan in the semi-finals in the latter tournament and also lifted the trophy of the former by defeating Australia in the final. 

Bowler Anil Kumble took his 500th Test wicket in a 2006 match here against England and Rohit Sharma hit a memorable 208 not out in an ODI against Sri Lanka on this ground back in 2017. The ends are named after Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh and IPL side Punjab Kings played here until the team moved into the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium.
