Birmingham Bears

The Birmingham Bears have been clinical in their performance so far this season. With just 3 losses in 13 matches, they have already qualified for the quarterfinals and will finish the group stage at the top of the North Group table.<br /> Alex Davies and Robert Yates have been brilliant at the top of the order, powering the team to some brisk starts.

Yates has scored 394 runs so far and is second on the list of top scorers for his team. However, as we enter a crucial phase in the tournament, the middle order will need to step up to take some of the scoring pressure off the opening pair. Chris Benjamin, Glenn Maxwell, and Jacob Bethell haven’t been consistent enough so far.

All-rounder Dan Mousley has put up some resistance lower down the order. He has done an excellent job with the ball too, picking up 18 wickets, and is the leading wicket-taker for Birmingham. He along with the other two spinners Glenn Maxell and Jake Lintot will play a key role for the team here.

The pace attack will be led by Hasan Ali, Henry Brookes, and Oliver Hannon-Dalby. 

Durham

Durham had a decent start to its campaign but things have gone rapidly downhill in the last few weeks. The team is winless in its last 7 outings and was forced to share points in 3 of them, thanks to a couple of ties and a washed-out match.

As a result, they are 8th on the points table and have no chance of making it through to the next stage. <br /> It is not that the team has performed badly, but they have been unlucky at times not to end up on the winning side. Graham Clark and Alex Lees make up for a strong opening pair and will be looking to give the team a strong start here.

Michael Jones and Ashton Turner have chipped in too, scoring important runs in the middle order. However, it is Oliver Robinson who is the leading run-scorer for Durham, scoring 370 runs, including 4 half-centuries. Coming to the bowling, Nathan Sowter is having an excellent season and has picked up 22 wickets.

The other spinners haven’t been up to the task though, as Ashton Turner and George Drissell have struggled to pick wickets. The seamers have done a more consistent job, with Ben Raine and Liam Trevaskis picking up 22 wickets between them.
