WI vs NEP Team Previews
West Indies
West Indies made a winning start to their qualifier campaign as they defeated the USA in their opening fixture. While they would have liked to score a bigger win, they nonetheless earned 2 important points and are 2nd on the points table.
The openers weren’t able to get going in the opening fixture and they will be hoping to put up a better show this time around. Brandon King was dismissed for a duck, while Kyle Mayers could manage to score just 2 runs. The middle order put up an excellent show and they are likely to be West Indies’ biggest strength here too.
Johnson Charles, Shai Hope, Roston Chase, and Jason Holder all went on to score half-centuries and will be looking to continue with their good form. West Indies has a strong pace attack that can ask tough questions of the Nepal batsmen.
Keemo Paul is likely to open the bowling along with Jason Holder, while Mayers and Alzarri Joseph will chip in during the middle overs. Akeal Hossain and Roston Chase will feature in the spin attack.

Nepal
After losing their opening fixture against hosts Zimbabwe, Nepal made a strong comeback in its last match as it made small work of the USA. They are now 3rd on the points table and a win here will greatly improve its chances of making it into the Super Sixes.
Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh will be looking to give the team a strong start here. Bhurtel has been particularly impressive in both games. The team has plenty of all-rounders in the middle order, including Bhim Sharki, skipper Rohit Paudel, Kushal Malla, and Dipendra Singh Airee.
Paudel and Bhim Sharki are known to be big hitters of the ball and will play an important role here. The seamers did an excellent job in the last match and played an important role in limiting the USA to a modest total of 207. Lalit Rajbanshi gave away just 20 runs in his 10 overs and also picked up a wicket, while Gulsan Jha picked up 3 for 52.
However, the most impressive of the lot was Karan KC, who picked up 4 for 33 runs.
The spinners haven’t been able to get going though. Sandeep Lamichhane has been wicketless in both matches so far, while Kushal Malla hasn’t had much chance to bowl.

Pitch and Conditions
The pitch at the Harare Sports Club is good to bat on. The surface is firm and offers a good bounce. The ball comes on nicely onto the bat. There will be some movement through the air early on, but once the batsmen settle, they shouldn’t face many problems. Teams batting first will be looking to get close to 300 to give their bowlers a good chance at defending.
The weather is likely to be clear with temperatures below 25 degrees.
WI vs NEP Betting Tips
While Nepal did win their last match, we think it is unlikely that they will be able to extract a similar result here. West Indies have a well-balanced side and should have no problems in overcoming any challenge thrown by Nepal.
Bet on West Indies to win.

Kushal Bhurtel has shown good form in this tournament so far, scoring 99 and 39 runs in the 2 matches so far. He has scored 18 or more runs in each of his last 4 One Day games and we expect him to play another good inning here.
The Harare Sports Club offers a good batting surface. With some of Nepal’s batsmen in good form, we can expect plenty of boundaries from them.
Johnson Charles scored a half-century in the last match and looked to be in good touch. With the kind of pitch on offer here, we can expect a good inning from him here.
