WG vs INDM Team Previews
World Giants
The World Giants lifted the Legends League title in its inaugural season in 2021 and will be eager to do so again. The team will be led by Aaron Finch, who has some of the best international talents at his disposal.
The World Giants have plenty of firepower at the top of the order which can give them an explosive start. Chris Gayle is likely to pair up with Finch at the top of the order, with the likes of Paul Collingwood and Ross Taylor following them in the middle order.
The World Giants have some excellent all-rounders in the form of Jacques Kallis, Shane Watson, Kevin O’Brien, and Morne Morkel, who are capable of scoring quick runs toward the end of an inning. Talking about the bowling, we are likely to see Brett Lee share the new ball with Morne Morkel, while Monty Panesar is likely to take over in the middle overs as he is the only specialist spinner in the squad.
The team will bank on the likes of Kallis, Shane Watson, and Albie Morkel to fill in during the rest of the overs. Batting will be the biggest strength for the World Giants this season and they will be hoping that the deep batting line-up will help them put up match-winning scores.
World Giants Playing 11
Aaron Finch, Brett Lee, Morne van Wyk, Chris Gayle, Shane Watson, Ross Taylor, Monty Panesar, Kevin O'Brien, Tino Best, Jacques Kallis, Chris Mpofu, Ricardo Powell.
India Maharajas
It hasn’t been an ideal start for the India Maharajas as they lost their opening match against the Asia Lions by 9 runs. Nevertheless, skipper Gautam Gambhir will be looking to put the loss behind him and take the positives from that match.
Gambhir himself was in excellent touch as he scored a brisk half-century during the chase. He received good support from Murali Vijay, who looked quite comfortable in the number-3 position. However, the team will expect a better performance from the likes of Robin Uthappa and Suresh Raina in this game.
Yusuf Pathan, Mohammad Kaif, and Irfan Pathan put up some resistance lower down the order but that wasn’t nearly enough to get India over the finish line. Earlier in the day, the spinners from the Indian camp seemed to struggle to find a good line and length as Harbhajan Singh, Praveen Tambe, and Yusuf Pathan were all wicketless.
Stuart Binny and Parvinder Awana picked up 2 wickets each, while Irfan Pathan and Ashok Dinda too saw some success.

WG vs INDM Toss Prediction
The team winning the toss will likely opt to bat first here.

Pitch and Conditions
The surface at the West End Park Stadium is pretty flat and is good to bat on. The ball comes on naturally to the bat and the fast outfield makes it easier to score boundaries. A score of around 160 can be considered to be a par score.
The spinners are likely to struggle here but the quicker bowlers who bowl a good line and length will be rewarded. The weather is likely to remain clear with temperatures in the low 20s.
WG vs INDM Betting Tips
While the India Maharajas have a strong batting line-up, they lack the power and the depth in batting akin to the World Giants and that could very well be the biggest factor here. The Giants have some of the most explosive batsmen in their squad and also have plenty of quality all-rounders who are capable of changing the course of the match.
Bet on the World Giants to win this match.
Bonus Cricket Bets
Chris Gayle is undoubtedly one of the best T20 batsmen of all time. He has scored a phenomenal 14562 runs in the shortest format at an average of 36.22. Given his ability to score freely against any opposition, we are backing him to score over 22.5 runs in this match.
