The Washington Freedom batting first, scored 160 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. The MI New York team dashed to this target for the loss of 2 wickets. Nicholas Pooran was adjudged the player of the match for his 62 runs from 33 balls. 

Kieron Pollard was adjudged player of the match. The Washington Freedom team got off to a reasonable start but the real impetus to the innings was provided by Glenn Phillips and the skipper Moises Henriques. Phillips hit 47 runs from 35 balls with 3 sixes, while Henriques scored 32 from 30 balls. All their top three batters viz. Matthew Short, Andries Gous, and Mukhtar Ahmed were among the runs scoring 14, 20, and 18 runs respectively. However, there were no major contributions from the middle order and lower middle order, and as a result, the team could set an imposing target.

Kieron Pollard was the most successful bowler for Washington Freedom picking up 2 wickets for 33 runs from his 4 overs. The MI New York team was up and running immediately with openers Shayan Jahangir and Monank Patel putting up a good partnership of 67 runs for the opening wicket. After this, Nicholas Pooran scored 62 runs from 33 balls with 6 sixes and 4 fours. The MI New York team played their last game against Seattle Orcas. This was the 15th game of the competition and it was a day/night affair played at Morrisville on 25th July. Batting first in this match, the MI New York team scored 194 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. The Seattle Orcas side chased down this total in 19.2 overs to register a win in a thrilling game of cricket. The Seattle Orcas batter Heinrich Klaasen was adjudged player of the match when he smashed 110 runs from 44 balls. He was also adjudged MVP.

The MI New York team did not get off to a great start. They lost the wicket of the in-form Monank Patel early. But the wicket-keeper batsman Nicholas Pooran scored a useful 68 from 34 balls with 7 sixes and 3 fours to help in taking his side to a good total. Kieron Pollard is the skipper of the MI New York team. He hit 34 runs from 18 balls with 3 thundering sixes and 1 four. There were some useful contributions from the lower middle order with Tim David, David Wiese, and Trent Boult scoring 18, 19, and 20 runs respectively.

Rashid Khan made quick inroads during the Seattle Orcas innings. Rashid Khan removed Quinton de Kock and Shehan Jayasuriya quickly. However, Nauman Anwar hung around to score a useful 51 from 30 balls with 6 fours and 3 sixes. But the real hero of the Seattle innings was Heinrich Klaasen who scored 110 runs from 44 balls with 7 sixes and 9 fours. The best bowler for MI New York was Trent Boult. He collected 4 wickets for 31 runs from his quota of 4 overs. Rashid Khan also picked up 2 wickets but he gave away 41 runs from his 4 overs.<br />
