USA
The USA team has significantly improved over the years owing to experienced international players forming their squad. Their only weakness may be that they haven’t had too much exposure to international cricket as a group.
Steven Taylor is an explosive batter opening the batting. His T20I career has started off well with a batting average of 37,04 at a strike rate of 136,73. His part-time off-spin can also be useful if the other bowlers don’t find their rhythm on the day.
Dual-international Corey Anderson offers the USA variation in the middle phases of the game. His left-arm mediums should be effective on bowling conditions which may be beneficial to fast bowling. His hitting towards the middle and latter stages of the batting innings can add the impetus that his team needs in this T20 World Cup match.
Ali Khan has been one of the leading fast bowlers for USA in recent years. His fast-bowling prowess will need to be on display in the powerplay. The opening bowler will want to improve his T20I numbers though. He has only bagged 12 wickets in his 11 T20Is to date.

Ireland
Ireland have performed well below par for their standards. They will be confident to turn things around, especially with a group that has consistently played together. They’ll believe that if their batting clicks, they’ll back themselves to defend anything with the ball.
Paul Stirling is a versatile batter. The experienced Irish opener has the ability to play the anchor role if wickets fall around him and can also accelerate the run rate if needed. He has 3600 runs in the T20I format, putting him in elite company. He has not hit the ground running yet, but expect him to fire soon enough.
Josh Little will enjoy bowling conditions. The left-arm seamer will want to make full use of the new ball. He has a knack of picking up crucial wickets in the first six overs, but has also been a reliable bowler in the death overs.
Harry Tector has taken the ODI scene by storm, but has failed to translate this into anything of substance at T20I level. The talented youngster only managed 15 runs in his last five T20I innings. He will have a considerable opportunity coming up to show his true class in the middle order.

This match will be played at the Central Broward Regional Park in Lauderhill, Florida.
