The Trent Rockets had an excellent campaign in the last season where they finished at the top of the points table and earned a direct entry to the Finals. There, they defeated the Manchester Originals in a close encounter to lift their first Hundred title.
Being led by Lewis Gregory, the Trent Rockets will be hoping to put up a similar performance this season too. Gregory led the Somerset team to its 2nd T20 Blast title earlier this year and is himself in good form. He has a star-studded batting line-up at his disposal, consisting of batsmen like Alex Hales, Colin Munro, Joe Root, and Dawid Malan.
The two wicketkeepers on the squad, Tom Moores and Tom Kohler-Cadmore are also known for their clean hitting skills.
