SYT vs BH Team Previews
Sydney Thunder
The Sydney Thunder had a decent outing last season as they managed to win 7 out of the 14 matches played. As a result, they finished 4th on the points table and managed to reach the playoffs for the 4th consecutive season.
Nevertheless, the team was knocked out by Brisbane Heat in the Eliminator.
The team will once again bank on the strong batting unit to deliver the goods. Alex Hales retains his place at the top of the order. With David Warner unavailable for the first few matches, he will likely be joined by Cameron Bancroft as his opening partner.
There are some solid performers in the middle order, including Jason Sangha, Alex Ross, and Daniel Sams, all of whom can be quite destructive on their day. Sams is also a quality all-rounder and was the leading wicket-taker for his team last season.
He will be supported by Nathan McAndrew and Liam Hatcher in the seam department. Pakistan quick Zaman Khan comes into the team, providing an additional bowling option at the death.
Chris Green, who picked up 14 wickets last season, will lead the team this time around and will feature in the spin department alongside Tanveer Sangha.

Brisbane Heat
Brisbane Heat secured a massive win over the Melbourne Stars in their opening fixture. However, their next match was abandoned due to rain, forcing them to share points with the Strikers. Nevertheless, they are currently at the top of the points table.
Colin Munro was in brilliant form on the opening night and will likely open the batting here. As Usman Khawaja has departed for international duties, Josh Brown will come into the squad, joining Munro. The middle consists of Sam Billings, Paul Walter, and Max Bryant.
Nathan McSweeney has been performing well in the domestic circuit. He can play the role of a finisher with the bat and is also a handy off-spinner who can support Mitchell Swepson. The seam attack is one of the biggest strengths of the team.
Michael Neser and Xavier Bartlett make up for an excellent new-ball attack, with Spencer Johnson coming in as the first change.

The team winning the toss will likely opt to bowl first.

Pitch and Conditions
The pitch at the Manuka Oval is well-balanced. The seamers will get some help early on as the ball seams and swings a bit. The batsmen will need to be careful when the ball is new. However, as the ball gets softer, it should get easier to bat. The team batting first will look to score around 170 runs.
The weather is likely to be overcast and there is a forecast for some rain the temperature will remain between 20 to 25 degrees Celsius.
SYT vs BH Betting Tips
While the Sydney Thunder have put together a strong squad, they will find it difficult to overcome a stiff opposition like Brisbane. We feel that the latter has a good balance of players.
Bet on the Brisbane Heat to win.
Bonus Cricket Bets
The pitch at the Manuka Oval is good to bat on. As both teams have a strong batting line-up, we are expecting at least 300 runs to be scored.
Both, the Brisbane Heat as well as the Sydney Thunder have some quality batsmen playing for them. With quite a few of them in good form, we are expecting at least one of them to play a big inning.
Munro is in fine form and scored 5 maximums on the opening night. As the boundaries aren’t the biggest at the Manuka Oval we feel he will hit at least one more.
