Sylhet Strikers

The Sylhet Strikers are the only team that has yet to win a match this season. With 3 losses in as many matches, the Strikers are sitting right at the bottom of the table.

Despite having a talented batting line-up at its disposal, the Sylhet Strikers have been unable to perform on the field. Najmul Hossain Shanto and Mohammad Mithun have been unable to give the team a stable start and that has put more pressure on the middle order.

Zakir Hasan has played a couple of good innings and is the leading run-getter with 112 runs. He will however look for better support from Samit Patel, Yasir Ali, and Ben Cutting. Coming to the bowling, Richard Ngarava has done well with the new ball, picking up 4 wickets so far.

However, Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Mashrafe Mortaza have failed to support him at the other end. Samit Patel bowled a good spell in the last match as he picked up 3 wickets and will lead the spin attack. 

Chattogram Challengers

The Chattogram Challengers have played some good cricket this season, winning 3 of the 4 matches played so far. As a result, the team finds itself 2nd on the points table.

Avishka Fernando played an excellent knock of 91 not out in the last match and helped his team set a huge 193-run target on Saturday. He will once again open the batting alongside Tanzid Hasan. The latter has played a couple of good knocks but is a bit inconsistent.

Najibullah Zadran and Shahadat Hossain are the other two batsmen to watch out for in the middle order as both of them are in good touch. Curtis Campher proved to be an excellent all-rounder in the last match. He played the role of a finisher with the bat, scoring 29 from just 9 deliveries, and also picked up 4 wickets for just 20 runs.

He is now the leading wicket-taker of this tournament. Campher will be supported by Shohidul Islam, Al-Amin Hossain, and Bilal Khan in the pace department, while Nihaduzzman and Shuvagata Hom will feature in the spin attack.
