Seattle Orcas
The Seattle Orcas is a team based in Redmond, Washington, and is co-owned by the GMR Group, which also operates the Delhi Capitals franchise in the IPL. The other owners include Satya Nadella.
The team will be led by South African all-rounder Wayne Parnell, who has plenty of experience playing franchise cricket around the world. He has a pretty well-balanced squad at his disposal. Some other high-profile international signings include Quinton De Kock, Shimron Hetmeyer, and Heinrich Klaasen, all of whom add considerable heft to the batting.
The team has invested heavily in all-rounders and roped in players like Imad Wasim, Dasun Shanaka, and Dwaine Pretorius. The seam attack is one of the strengths for the Orcas, as in addition to the skipper, they have the services of Andrew Tye, Matthew Tromp, as well as local talent Phani Simhadri.
The spin attack will rely heavily on young Afghanistan bowler Izharulhaq Naveed as well as West Indian Hayden Walsh Jr.

In such a scenario, there will be added pressure on the all-rounders to score runs. They include the skipper as well as internationals Marco Jansen, Justin Dill, and Obus Pienaar. The last-minute withdrawal of Wanindu Hasaranga has dealt a blow to the team’s balance but they will bring in some reinforcements going ahead.
The seam attack does look quite strong thanks to the presence of experienced campaigners including Adam Milne, Ben Dwarshuis, Anrich Nortje, and Saurabh Netravalkar. West Indian spinner Akeal Hosein will lead the slow ball attack along with Dane Piedt, Tanvir Sangha, and Usman Rafiq.
