After losing its opening fixture against the Trent Rockets, the Southern Brave came back in style to defeat the Welsh Fire on Friday in a thrilling encounter. As a result, the team earned its first points of the season and climbed up to the 4th spot.
The Southern Brave put up yet another mediocre batting performance at the top of the order, but a stunning late onslaught by Chris Jordan propelled them to a respectable total. Jordan is now the top run-getter for his team and has also picked up 3 wickets. Finn Allen started off well in both matches but hasn’t been able to convert it into a meaningful inning.
