Southern Brave Women
The Brave have won four straight games, but it’s not hard to see why, as the team is full of great batters. Leading everyone on the team (and the entire Women’s Hundred) is Mandhana with 224 runs and a great average of 44.80. It was unusual to see her get a duck against the Spirit, but she’s had scores as high as 70*.
It’s a surprise to see Bouchier (195) being the second-highest scorer, as we thought Wyatt (169) would be in the 200s by now like Mandhana. Still, having so many reliable batters is never a bad thing. There’s quite a gap to the next best batters, with Adams (59) and Tryon (58) performing well enough with good contributions.
The bowling is also a massive strength for the Brave, as they have the league’s best bowler, as well as batter, with Adams on fire taking 14/142 (ER of 7.10) for the season. To see that Shrubsole (6/143) is the team’s second-best bowler is quite revelatory, as it’s clear how vital Adams is to the Brave. Bell (4 wickets) and Tryon (4) are doing their bit to help out.

Oval Invincibles Women
Dane van Niekerk had missed the last three games for the Invincibles, but the news that she’ll miss the entire season is hard to ignore. Up until her injury, she’d been a decent batter with 44 runs, but her captaincy is going to be hard to replace. The team is still in fourth place, so there’s hope of reaching the Finals.
It looks like Kapp (111 runs) will have to be the one to lead the team in batting, as she’s looked great in her last two games with 64 & 30. Winfield-Hill (108) looks solid, but we’re still hoping for more from Bates (73) and Capsey (77). No one on the team has scored more than 64 runs in an innings, so there needs to be more urgency.
Kapp is also incredibly important to the Invincibles with her bowling, as she’s the best with 9/93. MacDonald-Gay has been solid with 8/116 and Scholfield has 6/107. We thought Capsey would be given the chance to bowl more, as she only has 8 over so far with figures of 1/63. A lot of the bowling burden still falls on Kapp right now.

Kapp is averaging 37.00 and has a big total of 111 runs, but it's quite a surprise that her odds are so good. You could get a huge return if she is the best batter, and we trust her more than Bates or Winfield-Hill at the moment.
We think Bouchier will be the top scorer, but Mandhana is a safe bet to score over 22.5 runs, as she's already averaging 44.80 and is superb lately, with over 30 runs in each of her last two matches.
