SBW vs NOSW Team Previews
Southern Brave Women
The Southern Brave W were by far the most consistent team during the group stages. Barring their loss against the Welsh Fire W, they won 7 of the 8 group stage matches and finished at the top of the points table. As a result, they will make a third consecutive appearance in the finals.
It has been an exceptional batting effort by the Southern Brave this season. Maia Bouchier has been especially impressive, scoring 264 runs at an average of 44.00. She will be the key batter for the Brave in the middle order. Smriti Mandhana and Danielle Wyatt have emerged as a reliable opening pair and will look to give the team a brisk start. The Southern Brave does lack a bit in depth of batting. In case the top 3 batters fail, it can have a cascading effect on the lower middle order.
The batting performance of Chloe Tryon and Freya Kemp has been rather inconsistent. Georgia Adams has put up an excellent all-round performance. She is the leading wicket-taker of the tournament with 16 wickets and has also scored 109 runs. She will lead the seam attack alongside Lauren Bell and Anya Shrubsole.
The spinners haven’t had much success so far and will need to be more disciplined with their line and length.

Northern Superchargers Women
The Northern Supercharges finished the last two seasons in 5th and 6th positions respectively. However, they put up a much better performance this season, finishing 2nd on the points table. The Superchargers faced the Welsh Fire in the Eliminator on Saturday, which had to be abandoned due to rain. Since the Superchargers were placed higher on the table, they moved ahead to set up a date with the Southern Brave.
Marie Kelly and Jemimah Rodrigues will open the batting for the Superchargers. Kelly has been the dominant partner, scoring 176 runs. Rodrigues on the other hand hasn’t been in at her fluent best and has a high score of just 33 in 8 innings. Phoebe Litchfield is the best performer with the bat and is also second on the list of top scorers of the tournament.
Bess Heath, Hollie Armitage, and Georgia Wareham add depth to the batting.
The latter has picked up 11 wickets and will bowl in tandem with Lucy Higham. Alice Davidson-Richards is likely to start with the new ball, while Kate Cross and Grace Ballinger are the other two seamers.

Pitch and Conditions
The pitch at the Lord’s Stadium is well-balanced and we can expect an even contest between the bat and the ball. The average first-inning score in this ground in Women’s Hundred this season is around 125. However, that hasn’t been enough as the chasing team has won all three matches. The team batting first will look to get closer to 150 to give the bowlers a fighting chance. The seamers will need to bowl a good line and length to contain the batters.
The spinners will enjoy bowling on this pitch as it offers a good amount of turn.
We can expect some showers in the evening, causing delays.
