The skipper Babar Azam was the top run-getter of the game scoring 107 runs from 117 balls with 10 fours. Agha Salman also scored 58 runs from 46 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes. Toward the end of the innings, Mohammad Haris and Shaheen Shah Afridi hit some lusty blows to take the Pakistani total to a healthy score of 334 runs.

Mohammad Wasim was one the top bowlers for Pakistan picking up 3 wickets for 40 runs from his 8.4 overs. But the most successful bowler in the game was Usama Mir. He bowled ten overs and gave away 43 runs while picking up 4 scalps. The new ball bowler Haris Rauf also picked up a couple of wickets while giving away 37 runs from his 8 overs. Apart from these bowlers, only Shaheen Shah Afridi was among the wickets picking up a single wicket for 34 runs. Other bowlers such as Iftikar Ahmed and Agha Salman went wicketless in the game.

New Zealand

There are a couple of good wicketkeeper batsmen available to the New Zealand team. The skipper Tom Latham and Tom Blundell are the two. The Kiwi top-order batting is in the hands of players such as Chad Bowes, Henry Nicholls, and Will Young. The New Zealand middle order will be in the hands of Tom Latham, Mark Chapman, and Cole McConchie. The New Zealand team has some high-quality all-rounders in their side such as Mark Chapman, Cole McConchie, James Neesham, and Rachin Ravindra.

The New Zealand bowling attack was taken to the cleaners in the last game by Pakistan. Most of their bowlers went for a lot of runs although there were some notable exceptions to this. The pick of the Kiwi attack was Matt Henry who succeeded in picking up 3 wickets for 65 runs from his 10 overs. Other bowlers that were among the wickets in the match were Ben Lister and Ish Sodhi. The New Zealand reply soon ran into troubled waters with all their top-order batters losing their wickets after getting in. The real resistance came from Tom Latham and Mark Chapman in the middle order of their innings. The skipper Tom Latham scored 60 runs from 76 balls with 5 fours while Mark Chapman scored 46 runs from 33 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes. But after these set batsmen got out, the rest of the Kiwi batting order was cleaned up by Mohammad Wasim and Usama Mir. The Kiwis ended up losing the game by a huge margin of 102 runs.
