It’s been a bit of a strange start for the Originals after having two games abandoned due to bad weather, but they still managed to keep their cool and pick up a recent win over the Phoenix. The Invincibles are near the bottom of the ladder with one loss and one draw, also due to rain.

It feels too early to judge the Invincibles just yet, as this is still the team that went 5-1 last season and won the title. The squad has one abandoned match and a loss to the Fire, but the rest of the league should still be wary.
Winfield-Hill was the only good batter in the second game with 42 runs, as the next five batters combined for a very terrible 18 runs. It’s unlikely things will stay that way, especially with big names like Bates, Capsey, and Kapp on the roster.
We shouldn’t be too worried about the bowling, either, as Kapp was still great in the second game with 4/18. Capsey and Grey each had 8 wickets last season, so they’ll get their act together soon enough.

Manchester Originals Women
As the first two games were cancelled, we only have one game to judge this latest Originals team, but it’s certainly one that we thought would be incredible.
It was no surprise that Wolvaardt was the team scorer with 38 runs, just like we predicted in the betting tips. She was the league leader in runs scored last year, and looks like she could do the same in 2023. As the Originals batted second and only needed to beat 87, they just needed help from really one other batter, and that was Campbell with 28 runs.
It was the Manchester bowlers who look great right now, as Morris shocked everyone with a big effort of 5 wickets for 7 runs. We knew Ecclestone would be great, but 4/11 was more than we anticipated. Wellington had 1/16, but she’ll still be required to take more wickets as the season moves on.

At this point.... why not? Wolvaardt had two half centuries last season and scored 38 runs in her first game, so it's a good bet to make. She's one of the most intense and fiery batters in the Hundred, so it's not impossible that she'll get a 50 here.
It's tough not to go with the Originals because of Wolvaardt, but we're keen to seen Lamb do something epic. She made 136 runs last season, so she just needs to chip in enough.
Morris had 5 wickets in her last match, so it's a good bet to see if she continues her great form. The odds are really good and it's a perfect chance to win some big money.
