NZW vs ENGW Team Previews
New Zealand Women
New Zealand Women put up a below-par total with the bat, but performed well with the ball in the series opener. Ultimately, though, they came up short and are in danger of losing a home WODI series to a highly motivated England Women unit.
New Zealand's opening partnership of Suzie Bates and Bernadine Bezuidenhout promised plenty with their combination of 90 runs, but there was not enough from the middle- through lower-order. This time, Amelia Kerr, Georgia Plimmer and company need to step up more strongly.
The home side bowlers would have been hugely encouraged after reducing England Women to 79 for six in pursuit of a 208-run target. While they eventually couldn't finish the job, captain Kerr and her sister Jess Kerr will want to build on their individual and collective performance after snaring two wickets each.
New Zealand Women Playing 11
Suzie Bates, Bernadine Bezuidenhout, Amelia Kerr, Georgia Plimmer, Maddy Green, Isabella Gaze, Hannah Rowe, Jess Kerr, Lea Tahuhu, Fran Jonas, Brooke Halliday.
England Women
England Women's ability to come from a position of inferiority to win the series opener showed just how good they are - and why they are among the title favourites ahead this year's T20 World Cup. Yes, this is a WT20I series, but they are a dominant limited-overs force regardless.
Charlie Dean and Lauren Bell snared three key wickets each in the first match of the series. Dean and Bell are one of the best spin and seam combinations in the women's game these days. Dean is building nicely on the momentum she collected in the preceding WT20I series against the same opposition.
Batting-wise, Amy Jones effectively rescued her team in the series opener. The wicketkeeper-batter put in a superb 92 not out that earned her the player of the match performance. Dean, a burgeoning all-rounder in her own right, contributed a valuable 42 not out. Both could be instrumental down the order again.
England Women Playing 11
Tammy Beaumont, Maia Bouchier, Heather Knight, Natalie Sciver, Alice Capsey, Danielle Wyatt, Amy Jones, Sophie Ecclestone, Charlie Dean, Kate Cross, Lauren Bell.

Bonus Cricket Bets
Bet on the home side to win the toss. They have a 50 percent chance of doing this. If NZ win the toss, they will probably choose to bat first.
Dean took three wickets in the previous WODI. She has been in relatively prolific form during this tour, including the preceding WT20I series. Conditions could suit her again.
Jones almost hit a century in the previous match. She was named player of the match. Her odds of being the top batter in the match this time are quite long, given her lower position in the batting order, but it remains a bet worth taking.
Bates has plenty of experience in international cricket and knows how to succeed in Hamilton conditions. Her previous innings brought a fine half-century.
Captain Kerr will be eager to lead her side to victory in the second WODI. She has plenty of bowling skills. Her variations in pace will be important. Anticipate a big peformance from her.
