The Vitality T20 Blast is picking up speed and the things are beginning to take shape beautifully. Nottinghamshire are looking all set to regain and maintain their supremacy in North Group standings as they take on Durham Jets in their next game. The Jets won their last match and will be high on confidence. With a good batting wicket and power-hitters on both sides, expect it to be a thrilling encounter.
NOT vs DUR Team Previews
Ever since they lost their opening game to the tournament to Birmingham Bears, the Outlaws have found a new potion and have been on a rampage. They've justified their tag of defending-champions by winning all of their next three games. While they've ridden on Dan Christan's skill more often than not, the contribution from their other players has been substantial as well.
They met Derbyshire in their last match where their skipper produced yet another match-defining performance with both bat and ball. The Outlaws scored 175 runs on a difficult batting pitch with Dan Christan and Tom Moores making useful contributions of 62 and 53 respectively. The Notts were looked out of the game as Lokie Ferguson rocked them with four wickets in his first two overs before Moores and Christan bailed them out.
Defending a reasonably big total, Nottinghamshire looked and stayed ahead in the game throughout the chase. Calum Macleod was the lone warrior for the Derbyshire as he scored 48 runs before Christan got him caught by Coughlin. Derbyshire were eventually folded for 139 to hand Notts another important win.

Before their last game against Birmingham Bears, Durham had slumped to seven defeats in their last seven games which is a record in itself. They needed a morale-boosting win at Edgbaston and so did they deliver. Due to the virtue of this win, they are still in the race to the playoffs but need a series of good performances.
Batting first against the home team, Birmingham Bears, Graham Clark and Tom Latham amassed 126 runs for the opening wicket - most by a Jets' opening pair. Just as they looked to tee-off and take the game away from the Bears, they lost four wickets in quick succession. From 126 for 0, they slid down to 138 for 4. Just as they were starting at yet another subpar total, a quick blitz by Paul Collingwood and Will Smith took their total fo 220 - second highest in this years T20 Blast.
Chasing 220 is never easy - however small the boundaries are, but Durham needed to bowl well and pick up early wickets. Will Smith was exceptional upfront and picked up two wickets including that of Ed Pollock. Rushworth was carted around by Sam Hain, and he gave away 42 in his three overs. The man is known for his emphatic celebrations and of course, leg-spin could not weave his magic and was hammered for 53 runs in his four overs.
Durham Jets claimed a much-needed win in their fourth match of the tournament, but their limitations were clearly visible. They haven't been at their fluent best in the middle-overs - both with the bat and ball. If they can improve in that aspect, they could be a team to beat, especially when Ben Stokes comes back.

NOT vs DUR Betting Tips
Durham Jets haven't done extraordinarily well, but they haven't been as dismal as they were last year. Notts, on the contrary, have been brilliant after an eye-opening defeat against the Bears. With batting and bowling in fine form, expect Nottinghamshire to win their upcoming match against Durham Jets.
