NOSW vs MOW Team Previews
Northern Superchargers Women
The Superchargers are undoubtedly getting the most batting production out of Litchfield, who has been excellent so far with 38, 42*, and 68. She had a duck against the Brave, which is the only game that the Superchargers lost so far, which might explain the defeat. We’re still waiting for a big batting effort from Rodrigues (55 runs), but her 33 runs versus the Rockets is a positive sign. It’s lucky that Kelly is stepping up, as her 78 runs are a welcome surprise.
We thought this would be a huge season for Davidson-Richards with the ball, but she’s been fairly underwhelming so far. Her first game was thrilling with 3/20, but she’s since gone 1/65 across three games and is struggling. However, Smith (6 wickets) and Wareham (7 wickets) are holding the fort until Davidson-Richards gets her bowling back on track.

Manchester Originals Women
We’ve only had the chance to see the Originals play in two games, but it’s clear that Wolvaardt is the team’s strongest batter with 65 runs. This was a huge acquisition for the team, as Wolvaardt is at the top of her game and was the highest run-scorer last year. Dottin (48 runs) and Campbell (45 runs) have contributed well enough, but the biggest worry is opener Lamb, who has had two consecutive ducks.
Last year’s biggest wicket-taker, Wellington, has only managed two wickets so far this season, but the Originals have thankfully had Ecclestone (5 wickets) and Morris (6 wickets) to help push the team’s bowling attack. Morris had 5 wickets in one match, so it’s unlikely she’ll have such amazing stats in every game, but Wellington should get going eventually.

NOSW vs MOW Toss Prediction
It’s more than likely that any captain winning the toss will want to bowl first, so that they can take advantage of the pitch conditions for batting later on. In T20 games, the team batting first has won 39/63 times.

Pitch and Conditions
For short-over games, Headingley is regarded as quite balanced and sees a lot of bounce and movement with the new ball straight away. However, the pitch tends to slow down somewhat as the game progresses, meaning that batters can have a good time selecting their shots and timing the ball easier. Spinners can also wreak havoc in the second innings.
NOSW vs MOW Betting Tips
The Superchargers will certainly have the favoured Betway odds in this match, but we feel like it’s time for the Originals to really show their power. You can’t have Wolvaardt and Wellington on the same team and not be a force in the Hundred. If Lamb can supply some much-needed runs, then the Originals will be very hard to beat.
Litchfield and Rodrigues will be the biggest problems for the Originals’ bowlers, but their form has been up and down, so you can never be quite sure which version of the batters you’ll get.
Bet on the Manchester Originals to win.
Bonus Cricket Bets
With 65 runs, Wolvaardt isn't scoring quite as fast as she was last year, but she's by far the most reliable batter on the team. The Originals have been a bit ruined by bad weather, but the squad is getting the chance to shine and Wolvaardt still has the best odds and is reliable.
It's a pretty safe bet to make as she's averaging 49.33 right now and has totalled 148 runs. Litchfield is a terrific run-scorer and gets the idea of scoring fast and aggressively in the Hundred. She'll be one to watch in the season.
The Kelly and Rodrigues partnership hasn't been so amazing for the Superchargers, even if their odds are better. We trust Wolvaardt, but we're still waiting for a good game from Lamb. It's likely worth it just with Wolvaardt opening the batting, to be honest.
