"We talked a good game before the game, and we didn't play a good game of cricket. We need to play better cricket for a lot longer if we're going to compete," said head coach Ryan Cook after that loss to the Australians. A few days later, the Dutch have the opportunity to right their wrongs against underperforming opposition.

All-rounder Colin Ackermann and captain Scott Edwards are Netherlands' leading run-scorers in this Cricket World Cup. Edwards is averaging over 45 at the tournament, but evidently needs stronger support from a host of other Netherlands batters who are averaging under 20 here.

Bowling-wise, seamer Bas de Leede is their leading wicket-taker in this tournament. He has nine in five matches - and would dearly like to bounce back after conceding the most expensive 10-over bowling figures in the history of ODI cricket against the Australians.

The Tigers have the propensity for outplaying superior opposition at major tournaments, but haven't found that potential in India. With no Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan in and out the side, the rest have failed to gel in the long-term or temporary absence of these stars.

Al Hasan returned to the XI for the match against South Africa, but failed with bat and ball. Bangladesh require a big performance from their veteran all-rounder if they are going to outplay the Dutch. Tasked with captaining the team, taking wickets and scoring runs, there is plenty of onus on Al Hasan.

Elsewhere with the bat, the experienced Mohammad Mahmudullah has emerged as Bangladesh's leading run-scorer in this tournament. He should be full of confidence after striking a century against the Proteas recently.
