This game was played at Mulpani. The UAE team batted first in the match and succeeded in raising a total of 164 runs for the loss of 7 wickets during their turn with the bat.

Unlike Nepal, the UAE outfit is going into this game with a couple of losses in a row. The UAE team played their last game in the competition against Hong Kong in Mulpani. The Hong Kong team batted first and raised a score of 212 runs for the loss of 3 wickets from their quota of 20 overs. The United Arab Emirates team responded with 143 runs for the loss of 5 wickets from their quota of 20 overs. Hong Kong registered an easy win by a margin of 69 runs. Babar Hayat from Hong Kong was adjudged player of the match for his 60 from 20 balls.

The 3 wickets to fall from the Hong Kong innings were picked up by 3 different bowlers from UAE. Nilansh Keswani, Sanchit Sharma, and Akif Raja picked up a wicket apiece during the Hong Kong inning. Nilansh Keswani was the pick of the bowlers with an economic spell that resulted in just 13 runs from his 4 overs. He even bowled a maiden over during the match. All the other UAE bowlers went for a lot of runs. Akif Raja also did a reasonable job with the ball giving away 15 runs from 2 overs.

Several United Arab Emirates batters got a start during the chase and managed to score runs in the 30s. But none of them could go on and hit a big one. This was the prime reason for the UAE chase not succeeding. The target set by Hong Kong was tough enough. The UAE bowlers will have to be on their toes in this game as well. The Nepal team has an even better batting line-up and they can put the UAE bowling to the sword. Khalid Shah, Nilansh Keswani, Basil Hameed, and Alishan Sharafu did a fair job in this game against Hong Kong and will need to rise to the task again.
