The Madurai Panthers’ 3-match winning streak was broken in their latest match, as they lost against the Lyca Kovai Kings on Sunday. As a result, the team is tied at points with the Chepauk Super Gillies but is 5th on the points table because of a lower NRR. While a win here will take the Panthers to the playoffs, a loss will eliminate them.
Washington Sundar and Suresh Lokeshwar will be looking to give the team a solid start here. Sundar has done a decent job with the bat, scoring 119 runs in 6 innings. Skipper Hari Nishaanth has led his team from the front and is the leading run-scorer for his team.
