MHA vs ASM Match Prediction & Betting Tips - Nov 30, 2022
Maharashtra and Assam will be playing against each other in the semi-final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022. Both these teams have amazed with some brilliant batting performances and absolutely deserve a shot at the title. The reality is, though, that only one of these two teams can make it.
Let us have a closer look at both teams to see which team is more likely to get through.
MHA vs ASM Team Previews
Maharashtra
Is there another team in the Vijay Hazare Trophy this season with a stronger batting lineup than Maharashtra? We don’t think so. Ruturaj Gaikwad was back batting at the opening slot and scored 220 runs in the previous match.
He smashed 7 sixes in one over (Yup, 7) and ensured that Maharashtra ends with a winning total. With players like Rahul Tripath, Ankit Bawne, SS Bachhav, and Azim Kazi (all of whom have scored runs this season), Maharashtra is not dependent on any one player.
In terms of batting strength, Maharasthra certainly has the advantage over Assam.
Mukesh Choudhary and Rajvardhan Hangarkekar are the two bowlers that will lead the attack for Maharashtra. Both these bowlers are right on the cusp of the Indian team and that shows just how dangerous they can be at the domestic level.
Manoj Ingale has also had a good tournament.
Maharashtra Playing 11
Ankit Bawne, Azim Kazi, Kaushal Tambe, Manoj Ingale, Mukesh Choudhary, Rajvardhan Hangargekar, Satyajeet Bachhav, Saurabh Nawale, Shamshuzama Kazi, Rahul Tripathi, Ruturaj Gaikwad.
Assam
Riyan Parag is having the kind of season that could propel him in the running for a national spot. He scored 174 in a massive 350 chase in the previous match and ended up helping Assam hun down the target with almost four overs to spare.
Rishav Das has also had a good tournament and will play a big role with the bat but the problem for Assam is that they do not have the kind of depth that Maharshtra does. If Parag and Das do not score runs then they could be in trouble.
Mukhtar Hussain, Avinov Choudhury, and Sunil Lachit are the three leading bowlers for Assam. Though this bowling attack has done well, it is likely to struggle against Maharashtra.
Assam Playing 11
Avinav Choudhury, Kunal Saikia, Mrinmoy Dutta, Mukhtar Hussain, Rahul Hazarika, Rajjakuddin Ahmed, Rishav Das, Saahil Jain, Sibsankar Roy, Swarupam Purkayastha, Riyan Parag.
MHA vs ASM Betting Tips
We think Maharashtra is the deserving favorite going into this contest. It has a stronger batting lineup and its bowling is also world-class. Assam is a bit too dependent on individual performances for our liking.
Bet on Maharashtra to win.
