The London Spirit Women’s team didn’t have the best of times in the last season, as it managed to finish 7th on the table with just 2 wins from 6 matches. However, they will look to turn things around and put up a better performance this season.

The England National Women’s team captain Heather Knight will lead the team and will play an important role in the batting line-up. She is likely to open the batting alongside Sophie Luff.

London Spirit will rely heavily on the performance of its all-rounders. Amelia Kerr was the leading wicket-taker for the team last season and will once again lead the spin attack alongside Grace Harris, Sarah Glenn, and Charlie Dean.

Indian wicketkeeper Richa Ghosh has also been included in the squad and will make her Hundred debut.

Coming to the pace attack, Tara Norris and Lauren Filer will be the lead bowlers while Sophie Munro will play a supporting role. 

Oval Invincibles Women

The Oval Invincibles are inarguably the most successful team in the history of The Hundred competition. They have won both the seasons played so far and will be hoping to put up a similar performance this season too.

To its credit, the Invincibles have managed to retain most of its core team from the previous season. Suzie Bates and Lauren Winfield-Hill were the top scorers for them, and will once again play an important role.

In addition to the duo, the Invincibles have the services of Cordelia Griffith, Alice Capsey, and skipper Dane van Niekerk. Capsey was also the joint-highest wicket-taker along with Sophia Smale and Eva Gray, with all of them picking 8 wickets each.

The latter will feature in the seam attack alongside Marizanne Kapp, Hannah Rainey, and Lizzie Scott.

Overall, the Invincibles have a well-balanced squad at their disposal and are likely to put up another strong performance here.
