Many things were expected from the skipper this year.

Everybody is expecting the London captain Heather Knight to come good in the upcoming games. This game can be just the perfect sort of platform she needs to launch into the 2023 season. While batting first, Northern Superchargers managed to score 133 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. This score was made possible thanks mainly to the efforts of Phoebe Litchfield who scored 39 runs from 29 balls, Marie Kelly, and Bess Heath. The innings after this was reset to 80 balls due to rain. The target was revised to 113 runs. But the Manchester Originals women could score just 108 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.

Phoebe Litchfield has been the top performer for the Northern Superchargers women this year scoring 187 runs from her 5 innings. She has scored these runs with an average of 46.75 and a strike rate of 140.60. The Superchargers skipper Hollie Armitage has also picked up 105 runs in 5 innings with an average of 26.25 and a relatively modest strike rate of 108.24. She will need to pull up her socks if the middle order of Superchargers has to hold well. But the Northern Superchargers' bowling attack has done a good job so far.

The Northern Superchargers leggy Georgia Wareham is their top wicket-taker during the year grabbing seven wickets with an economy rate of 6.30.
