Khulna Tigers

After getting a good start, the Khulna Tigers have struggled to keep the momentum going as they have lost 6 of the last 7 matches. As a result, the team is currently 5th on the points table. The Khulna Tigers will need a huge win here if they want the qualification hopes to stay alive.

Barring Anamul Haque, the batting for Khulna has been rather inconsistent. Haque is the top run-getter for the team with 286 runs and has scored 3 half-centuries in his 11 innings. However, he has received little support from the other top and middle-order batsmen. Afif Hossain has played a couple of good knocks but has failed to convert them into a big inning.

Similarly, Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Parvez Hossain, and Evin Lewis have all struggled to get going. Shai Hope has played well in the last couple of matches and the team will hope that he puts up a big score here. The bowling has been equally inconsistent for Khulna.

Nasum Ahmed and Mukidul Islam have both picked up 8 wickets but have been very expensive. Although, the inclusion of Jason Holder and Wayne Parnell does strengthen the seam attack. 

Sylhet Strikers

The Sylhet Strikers have been one of the poorest performers in this season. With just 4 wins in 11 matches, the team is already eliminated from the race to the playoffs and will be playing for pride.

Benny Howell was in excellent form in the last match as he scored 62 from just 31 deliveries and also went on to pick up a wicket. His all-round abilities will be a vital asset for the Strikers in this match. Kennar Lewis and Zakir Hasan are likely to open the batting for the team and will look to score brisk runs during the Powerplay.

Some quality batsmen are playing in the middle order including Najmul Hossain Shanto, Yasir Ali, and Mohammad Mithun who can take the team to a big total. Coming to the bowling, Samit Patel and Tanzim Hasan Sakib have both picked up 9 wickets and will be the key bowlers for the team, while all-rounders Harry Tector and Benny Howell will play a supporting role.
