The Joburg Super Kings have found the right gear at just the right time. They are coming in at the peak of their form into the semi-final and while that is no guarantee of a win, it certainly puts them in a strong position. Faf du Plessis, Reeza Hendricks, and Leus du Plooy are the batters that have done well for JSK but Matthew Wade also showed just how dangerous he can be in the previous match.
It was his inning of 40 from 18 deliveries that took the game back toward JSK after they had lost important wickets in the powerplay.
Donovan Ferreira has also done well as the designated six-hitter in the lower order.
The bowlers always tend to struggle at SuperSport park but with Maheesh Theekshana, Gerald Coetzee, and Romario Shepherd in the lineup, JSK will hope to do well in that aspect as well.

The dependence of the team on Aiden Markram is far too much for our liking. Adam Rossington, Jordan Hermann, Tristan Stubbs, and JJ Smuts have all played a couple of good knocks but no one has really shown consistent performances.
The batting looks a bit weak and at a venue where runs flow freely, that could be a problem.
Sisanda Magala is the leading bowler for the Sunrisers and is reasonably well supported by Marco Jansen, James Fuller, and some quality all-rounders. The Sunrisers can win, they have some match-winners, but overall, they are a weaker T20 team than the Joburg Super Kings. <br />
