Islamabad United will go into this match after beating the Lahore Qalandars and losing the Multan Sultans recently. United have won the Pakistan Super League title twice - and are attempting to collect a third title this year. Victory over the Gladiators would help their ambition.

Naseem Shah and Tymal Mills have taken three wickets each for Islamabad this PSL season. Shah is a top local talent. Mills is a solid recruit from England and bowls really good slower deliveries. These two fast bowlers are among the best in the tournament.

The Quetta Gladiators are unbeaten this PSL season. They defeated Peshawar Zalmi before outplaying Lahore as well. Quetta won the Pakistan Super League in 2019 and have collected several play-off berths since. They're determined to go all the way again this year.
Saud Shakeel and Jason Roy are the batting stars to watch out for in the Gladiators XI. Shakeel has hit 114 runs in two innings to Roy's 99 in two this tournament so far. Both are outstanding opening batters and capable of really capitalising during the powerplay.
Like Islamabad, Quetta also have two bowlers with three wickets each this season. They are Akeal Hosein and Abrar Ahmed. Hosein has been enjoying success with the new ball. The West Indies spinner has performed a similar role for his country in T20I cricket.
