The Irish batting for this first T20 international against England Women will revolve around their skipper, Gaby Lewis. The right-handed batter has been pivotal to the fortunes of Irish Women with the bat. She has scored 525 runs from her last fifteen innings with an excellent average of 40.38. A right-handed batter doing equally well for Ireland Women has been Amy Hunter. She has scored 506 runs from her last fifteen innings with a top average of 46.00. Another batter doing well for Ireland Women has been Orla Prendergast. She has also scored 363 runs from her previous fifteen innings.

The Irish bowling charge in this was expected to be led by Laura Delany. However, this Irish medium pacer is likely to miss the entire T20I series due to injury. In her absence, Arleen Kelly is expected to lead the bowling attack. She has picked up fifteen wickets from her last fourteen innings, averaging 17.20. She will be supported by Paige Scholfield, Georgia Adams, Hollie Armitage, Charis Pavley, and Serene Smale, who will also don the gloves to handle the wicket-keeping responsibilities.
