The Tiruppur Tamizhans finished 2nd on the points table thanks to a better NRR. That has been a big advantage for the team as despite losing to Lyca in Qualifier 1, they have another chance to redeem themselves.
Tushar Raheja was once again in fine form in the previous game as he scored his 3rd half-century of the season. He has received good support from Amit Sathvik at the other end and together, the duo will look to get the Tamizhans off to a good start.
The return of Maan Bafna to the playing eleven has added heft to the middle order which is already quite strong thanks to the presence of Sai Kishore, Balchander Anirudh, and S Ganesh. Mohamed Ali has proved to be a dependable all-rounder throughout the season, scoring 170 runs and has also picked up 9 wickets.
The bowling in Qualifier 1 wasn’t up to scratch and that is something the team will look to work on in this match. T Natarajan remains the leading wicket-taker for Tiruppur with 12 wickets and will once again lead the pace attack alongside P Bhuvaneshwaran and R Rohit while Ajith Ram and Sai Kishore are the two spinners.

Shivam Singh is in brilliant form this season and is the leading run-scorer of the tournament with 360 runs. However, his opening partner Vimal Khumar has been rather inconsistent. The inconsistencies trickle down to the middle order as well.
Baba Indrajith and Boopathi Kumar have played a couple of handy knocks but have failed to get going on quite a few occasions. Barring Ravichandran Ashwin, Dindigul also lacks a quality all-rounder and has often found itself out of batting depth. Ashwin was in good form with the bat as he scored a half-century to take his team to a win.
He will also play an important role with the ball Varun Chakaravarthy has picked up 8 wickets but the team would have expected more from him.
Similarly, the pace attack has been underwhelming as well, with Sandeep Warrier managing to pick only 9 wickets.
