Himachal Pradesh
It has been a fairytale season for Himachal Pradesh. Drawn in a group containing the heavyweights like Gujarat, Saurashtra, and Baroda, not many believed that they would make it to the knockout stages. However, they topped the points table to proceed further. Defying the odds, Himachal defeated Bengal and Punjab in the quarterfinals and the semifinals respectively, to earn a well-deserved place in the Finals.
Akash Vasisht has proved to be an excellent all-rounder, and is the top-scorer for the team with an aggregate of 191 runs, while also picking up 4 wickets. Along with Sumeet Verma, he lent stability to the middle order. Prashant Chopra has been good at the top of the order, providing his team with some good starts. But Ankush Bains has failed to get a big score.
The bowling for Himachal has been quite impressive too, with Rishi Dhawan and Kanwar Abinay being the pick of the bowlers. They have been supported well by Mayank Dagar, who has been quite economical, along with Vaibhav Arora. Overall, the Himachal Pradesh team has performed well as a unit.

Mumbai
The Mumbai team has always been touted as one of the best teams out there, but till now, they didn’t manage to make it this far in the country’s Premier T20 tournament. However, the wait is now over, and Mumbai has a real chance to lift the trophy. Mumbai comfortably topped Group A and defeated Saurashtra as well as Vidarbha in its journey to the Finals.
Prithvi Shaw and Yashasvi Jaiswal have provided Mumbai with some good starts, allowing them to pile up big totals. Shaw in particular has been in great touch, scoring an aggregate of 321 runs. The return of Shreyas Iyer has had a positive impact on the middle order, which already had the likes of Sarfaraz Khan and Shivam Dube.
Tushar Deshpande and Shams Mulani have been excellent with the ball, picking up 17 and 16 wickets so far. Shivam Dube with his all-round abilities has been good with his bowling, while Mohit Avasthi and Tanush Kotian have bowled well in the middle overs.

Pitch and Conditions
The pitch is flat, with an even bounce, making it easy to hit big shots. A score of around 165 can be considered to be a par score, but the team batting first would like to get closer to 200. The spinners will however get some turn as the game progresses. Since it is a D/N match, the dew may be a factor, especially in the second innings. The temperature is likely to be in the high 20s during the evening, but it’s likely to be quite humid.
