HBH vs MLR Team Previews
Hobart Hurricanes
The Hurricanes have lost both of their matches so far and find themselves in the bottom 3 on the points table. With a shortened group stage, they will need to bounce back soon if the team wants to keep its qualification hopes alive.
Despite having some excellent batsmen in the line-up, the Hurricanes’ batting hasn’t been that impressive. Caleb Jewell and Ben McDermott are likely to open the batting for the team and they will look to give the team a brisk start. There are some quality batsmen in the middle order, including Sam Hain, Nikhil Chaudhary, and Mitchell Owen.
While Hain hasn’t been in good form, Chaudhary was impressive in the last match as he scored 40 runs, albeit for a losing cause. The two finishers, Tim David and Corey Anderson, are yet to play to their full potential. Chris Jordan and Nathan Ellis will open the batting with the new ball, with Anderson coming in as the 3rd seamer.
Left-arm spinner Patrick Dooley, who was impressive in BBL 12, is yet to pick a wicket after two matches.

Caleb Jewell, Matthew Wade, Mac Wright, Sam Hain, Corey Anderson, Timothy David, Nikhil Chaudhary, Chris Jordan, Paddy Dooley, Nathan Ellis, Riley Meredith.
Melbourne Renegades
Much like the Hobart Hurricanes, the Melbourne Renegades are yet to register a win this season. Thanks to an abandoned game against the Scorchers, the Renegades have a solitary point and are placed 5th on the table.
Quinton de Kock and Joe Clarke will open the proceedings with the bat for the Renegades in this match.
De Kock was in brilliant form in the ODI World Cup was dismissed in for a duck in his first match of the season on Thursday, while Clarke has made single-digit scores in both his outings. There are a couple of strong performers in the middle order.
Jake Fraser-McGurk and Will Sutherland have been consistent with the bat and the team will want at least one of them to play a big inning. The others in the batting line-up include Aaron Finch, Nic Maddinson, and Jonathan Wells.
The seam attack consists of Tom Rogers, Kane Richardson, and Will Sutherland, while Adam Zampa and Mujeeb Ur Rahman are the two specialist spinners.

Pitch and Conditions
The pitch at the Bellerive Oval is generally good to bat on. The average first-inning score on this ground is close to 170. That said, the seamers will get some help early on in the match as the ball seams around. The batsmen will need to be a bit careful before they can start taking the risks.
The weather is likely to be clear with temperatures of around 15 degrees Celsius.
HBH vs MLR Betting Tips
Both the teams have fared badly so far and are yet to win a match. However, looking at the way both have performed so far, we feel that the Renegades are at a slight advantage in this contest. They have a stronger batting line-up with a couple of batsmen who are in good form. Also, the Renegades have a well-balanced bowling attack.
Bet on the Melbourne Renegades to win this match.
Bonus Cricket Bets
Sam Hain isn’t in the best of forms this season. He has scored 3 and 0 in his last two innings and we are predicting another poor outing for him.
The pitch at the Bellerive Oval is good to bat on. As both teams have some quality batsmen, we are likely to see at least one of them play a big inning.
Fraser-McGurk has hit 10 6s in his two innings so far, which is the most by any batsman this season. Seeing his good form, we are backing him to hit at least one more in this match.
