Equally as important is Gardner, who scored 31 in Game 1 but is currently averaging 60.50 in her last 10 matches. Healy has been a bit of a disappointment, as she scored only 5 in Game 1, but also just one run in the draw against England A.
It was unusual to see Gardner not take any wickets in the first T20, as she’s usually reliable with 13 wickets in her last 10 matches. She should be better for the second game, but the team can still rely on Jonassen (3/25) and Schutt (2/33). In fact, Schutt is one of the most experienced players for Oz, as she has 17 wickets in her last 9 matches.
