It's been a splendid spell of cricket over the last few days as the Road Safety series and the Legends League Series turned back the clocks to exhibit the cricket we all watched growing up. The Road Safety series is just about nearing its end and we just have two league matches to go.
The last of the league matches is to be played between Australia Legends and England Legends in what is an important match for Australia Legends. They are still in the hunt to get to the next round but will need a win here. England Legends, on the other hand, are already out of contention.
The match between the two sides is to be played on September 27th 2022 at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur.

England Legends
It's been a disappointing tournament for England Legends thus far and they will be relieved that the embarrassment is coming to an end. They have not won any match in the tournament up until now and this outing will be a chance for them to get something out of a tournament that has yielded nothing for them.
They are currently placed at the bottom of the points table and the only way for them from here is up. They haven't won a game in the tournament yet and a win here will push them to seventh spot, which would just help them avoid the wooden spoon.
England Legends have a number of issues with their team and it's unlikely that they'll get their combination right in this match too. Having said that, they do have some highly experienced players who had performed in their days when chips were down. Given the way they have done in the competition so far, they will need to play really out of their skins to make a mark here. If they manage to do so though, the Aussie Legends will have their work cut out.

Australia Legends didn't have a great start to the tournament but they have done well to still stay in the reckoning. In fact, it wasn't until their last win that they would have fancied their chances to get to the next round. A big win over West Indies Legends, providing a big boost to their net run-rate.
As it currently stands on the points table, the Aussie Legends are standing at the fourth spot and a win here will push them to the third spot. While they will continue to stay in the hunt even if they lose the match, they would not want to do that going into the knockouts.
On paper, Australia Legends have a pretty good side on paper with all bases covered. They took some time to get started but now that they have, they are looking to be a really dangerous team. They have the resources they need and if they are able to play to their potential, getting past them could prove to be a dangerous ask.
