Durham made a good start to their campaign but seems to have lost steam midway through the season. They were leading the North Group at one stage, but they have now lost 3 of their last 4 matches and have fallen to the 5th place.
Skipper Alex Lees and Graham Clark will once again open the batting here. Both are in good form and will be looking to give the team yet another good start. Michael Jones and Ashton Turner have got some good starts but have lacked consistency.
Turner did score a half-century and that will boost his confidence here. Oliver Robinson will be the key for Durham in the middle overs. He is the top-scorer for the team with 291 runs and has scored 3 half-centuries in 7 innings. Durham has plenty of depth in its batting, thanks to all-rounders like Wayne Parnell and Ben Raine.
In the bowling department, Nathan Sowter has been brilliant with his leg breaks and is the leading wicket-taker of the tournament. However, he is the only quality spinner on the squad. The seamers have done a decent job so far but will need to be more disciplined with their line and length.

Luis Reece and Haider Ali will be looking to give the team a good start here. They haven’t been consistent enough this season and Reece in particular has struggled against the seamers. It is a similar story with middle-order batsmen Leus du Plooy, Thomas Wood, and Brooke Guest, who have struggled to score runs.
The failure of the middle order to get going has been one of the big reasons for Derbyshire’s mediocre show so far. Wayne Madsen however had been a standout performer with the bat and is the top run-getter of the tournament with 431 runs. The team will be banking on him to once again play a big inning here.
The seamers have done an excellent job so far and have contributed to the team’s success in recent matches. Zak Chappell and George Scrimshaw have picked up 12 wickets each, while Zaman Khan is close behind with 11.
