Despite losing its latest fixture to the UP Warriorz, the Delhi Capitals are sitting at the top of the points table thanks to an excellent NRR. A win here will confirm its place in the playoffs.
Meg Lanning continues her red-hot run in the WPL and has scored 4 half-centuries in her last 5 innings. She is currently the top run-getter of the season. She, along with Shafali Verma, Alice Capsey, and Jemimah Rodrigues makes up for a strong top order.
However, the failure of Jess Jonassen and Annabel Sutherland to score runs has hurt the team on a couple of occasions. The Capitals lost their last 7 wickets in just 18 deliveries as they collapsed against UP in a thriller.
