Melbourne Renegades Women

With just 1 win in 10 matches, the Melbourne Renegades are at the bottom of the points table and have no chance of catching up with the top 4 even if they win all their upcoming matches. Nevertheless, they will still look to make the most of these games.

Despite having some of the best T20 talent including Georgia Wareham, Tammy Beaumont, and Harmanpreet Kaur, the Renegades have failed to live up to the expectations of the fans. Hayley Matthews has endured a terrible time with the bat at the top of the order.

Demoting herself lower down the order seems to have brought some change as she scored 32 runs in the last match. She has however done better with the ball and is the leading wicket-taker for her team with 10 wickets. Georgia Wareham is another quality all-rounder on the team who has scored 265 runs and picked up 8 wickets.

Rather than depending on individual performances, the Renegades need to do well as a team to get back to winning ways.
